Yes, for paid packages, Akoonu's onboarding and training helps you get going on your own and before you know it, you’ll be an expert. We also maintain user documentation to help you onboard new users yourself and stay current on using the features of Akoonu. Additionally, if you would like assistance executing the persona and/or journey maps processes, our team of experienced professionals offers full services, including conducting interviews, collaborating with Sales, building personas and maps, and analyzing data as well as facilitating internal Brand workshops for developing or refreshing your brand positioning, messaging, and/or identity.

Does Akoonu integrate with my other marketing solutions?

Yes, Akoonu integrates with sales data from CRM systems such as Salesforce, as well as other content marketing and marketing automation solutions, so that you can continually inspect and validate the accuracy of your personas. We are continuously adding new integrations and widgets to support operationalizing your Audience and Brand standards. Can a Marketer configure Akoonu or does it require a technical resource?

Akoonu was designed especially for Marketers and for use without support from technical staff. It is a fast and simple to process to add, remove or change the order and attributes that define your Lines of Business, Market Segments, Personas, Journey Maps, Interview questions and more.

Can I change my plan later on?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade plans at any time. The change will take effect immediately, and you will be credited an amount equal to the current month's remaining charge.

What if I decide to cancel?

If you no longer wish to use Akoonu, you can cancel at any time. At that point, your subscription will last until the end of the current subscription cycle.

Who owns the data that we put into Akoonu?

You do! The data your organization entrusts to Akoonu is invaluable. It must be owned by your company and, if you decide to leave Akoonu, the data is available for you to export, access through our APIs or simply cut and past out of the application for future use.

How often should I update my personas? My journey maps?

As with all things that are complex in nature, it depends! Newly developed personas or existing personas on new journeys should be monitored at least monthly to consolidate new learnings about the personas and/or the journeys from Sales and Marketing. These learnings will influence your content creation, editorial calendar, distribution channels and optimization strategies. However, if you are in a very well-established industry with mature products or services sold to established market segments and all the personas in your journey maps are fully developed and your alignment with Sales is strong, your personas and journey maps may only require a quarterly refresh to capture trends in their industry and the world at large, changes in their preferred information sources and channels, or identify shifts in the buying process.
