Starting a Submission

You can start a forecast submission from two places in RevWorks — the Home tab or the Workbench tab. Both lead to the same submission workflow.

From the Home tab

The Cadence and Submission widget shows when your forecast is due and includes a Submit button. Click it to start.

From the Workbench tab

Find your name in the hierarchy. The Status column shows your due date and a Submit button. Click it to begin.

Choosing a submission mode

After clicking Submit, you’ll choose one of three modes:

  • Quick Submit — Review the rolled-up numbers by period and category. Make small tweaks, add comments, and submit. Best when you’re comfortable with the numbers and just need to make minor adjustments or round things off.

  • Review Deals — Opens the deal-based submission page where you can see every deal by month and forecast category. Drag and drop deals between periods and categories, adjust individual deal amounts, and build your forecast from the ground up. Best for reps and managers who want full control at the deal level.

  • Review Team — Available to anyone with subordinates in the forecasting hierarchy. Shows your team’s roll-up by person and period, with the ability to drill into individual deals and apply manager-level adjustments. Best for directors and VPs managing large teams.

Shared forecasts

If someone on your team has shared their forecast with you, you’ll see additional Submit buttons in the Workbench view — one for yourself and one for each person who has delegated to you. This lets you submit on their behalf without switching accounts.
