Working With Chats
Last updated April 21, 2026
Oonu saves every conversation so you can return to it later. The left panel shows your recent and starred conversations, and each conversation has tools for renaming, exporting, and presenting.
This article covers how to manage your conversation list and what you can do with saved conversations.
Conversation list
The left panel shows two sections:
- Starred — Conversations you’ve pinned for quick access
- Recent — All other conversations, sorted by most recent
As your conversation list grows, older chats scroll off the bottom of the recent list. Star the ones you want to keep accessible.
Starring conversations
Click the star icon on any conversation to pin it to the starred section. Starring moves it out of the recent list and into the persistent starred list at the top.
Unstarring a conversation moves it back to the recent list.
Renaming conversations
Oonu auto-generates a title for each conversation based on the first question. To rename a conversation, click the edit button on the conversation title and type a new name.
Renaming makes it easier to find specific conversations later — especially when you star conversations you plan to revisit.
Conversation actions
Each conversation has additional actions available from the conversation menu:
- Slideshow mode — Opens the full conversation in a presentation view, with each response block displayed as a slide. Navigate with forward and back buttons.
- Copy to clipboard — Copies the entire conversation (both your questions and Oonu’s responses) with formatting intact.
- Download as PDF — Downloads the full conversation as a formatted PDF.
- Delete — Permanently removes the conversation.
TIP
Use slideshow mode during team meetings to walk through a pipeline or forecast analysis directly from the chat — no need to build a separate deck.
