Setup & Administration Overview

The Setup area is where administrators configure Akoonu for their organization. This includes field configuration, permission sets, methodology mapping, and org-wide display settings.

Key areas

  • Field configuration — Choose which standard or custom fields drive pipeline amounts, filtering options, and column displays across views.
  • Permission sets — Assign Akoonu permission sets to control who can access specific features and hierarchy levels.
  • Methodology setup — Map your sales methodology fields to Akoonu’s stoplight system.
  • Forecasting configuration — Configure forecasting types, periods, and hierarchy settings.

Getting started

Access Akoonu Setup from the Akoonu app in Salesforce. You’ll need Salesforce admin permissions to make configuration changes.
