Bulk Operations
Last updated April 15, 2026
Quota Manager includes bulk operations for downloading, deleting, and copying quotas across fiscal years. These work alongside the Quota Import Wizard to give you full control over quota data without leaving Salesforce.
All bulk operations apply to a specific fiscal year and forecasting type.
Download quotas
The Download action exports all quotas for the selected fiscal year and forecasting type to a file. Use this to:
- Back up current quotas before making changes
- Review quota data outside of Salesforce
- Use the export as a starting point for next year’s planning
Delete quotas
The Delete action removes all quotas for the selected fiscal year and forecasting type.
Use this carefully. Once deleted, the quota values are gone. If you need to restore them, you’ll need to re-import from a previously downloaded file.
This is useful when you need to clear out placeholder data or start fresh for a fiscal year.
Copy quotas to another year
The Copy action copies all quotas from one fiscal year to another. When you run a copy:
- Existing quotas in the target year are deleted first.
- All users and their monthly quota values from the source year are copied to the target year.
This gives you a clean starting point for a new fiscal year based on the prior year’s quotas. After copying, you can adjust individual values using inline editing or re-import updated numbers with the import wizard.
What’s next
If your forecasting types use product family or custom field groupings, see Quotas with Groups to learn how bulk operations handle grouped quotas. To calculate manager rollups automatically, see Rollup Calculator.
