Opportunity Detail Panel

Last updated April 26, 2026

From the opportunity list in the Workbench, you can open a detail panel for any individual deal. The side panel gives you AI-generated insights, full deal history, activity timeline, sales methodology status, and product breakdowns — all without leaving the Workbench.

Opening the detail panel

Click on any opportunity name in the drill-down opportunity list. The side panel opens with several tabs for inspecting the deal.

Opportunity Insights

The first tab is Opportunity Insights, powered by RevWorks AI. The AI has full context to your Salesforce data — it understands the rep, team structure, opportunity stages, sales process, all activities on the opportunity, and account information.

This lets it generate meaningful insights that might otherwise be missed, including risk factors, positive signals, and areas of concern.

Details

The Details tab lets you view and edit the opportunity record directly. Any editable fields can be updated right from the panel.

History

The History tab goes beyond standard Salesforce history to give you a complete picture of how the deal has moved:

  • Stage history — Every stage the deal has passed through.
  • Days open — How long the opportunity has been open.
  • Push count — How many times the close date has been pushed.
  • Critical pushes — Pushes longer than 30 days.
  • Total days pushed — The cumulative number of days the deal has been pushed out.

This gives you a clear sense of deal velocity and whether the deal is progressing or stalling.

Timeline

The Timeline tab shows the complete activity history on the opportunity and account — tasks, events, emails, call recording transcripts, and other activities in chronological order.

Sales Process

The Sales Process tab displays your sales methodology (MEDDPICC, SPICED, BANT, etc.) and shows what has been documented to qualify the deal. It also shows AI-generated suggestions for qualification criteria that may apply based on the deal’s data.

Products

The Products tab shows the product line item breakdown if you’re using Opportunity Products in Salesforce.
