Oonu (AI Chat) Overview
Last updated April 21, 2026
Oonu is Akoonu’s AI sales analyst — a conversational interface built into the RevWorks platform with complete access to your Salesforce data, team hierarchy, and sales process. Ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in your actual pipeline data.
This article introduces the Oonu interface, what it has access to, and how to get started.
Accessing Oonu
Open the Akoonu app in Salesforce and select the AI Chat tab. You’ll see the Oonu welcome screen with a chat input, recent conversations on the left, and prebuilt starting points below.
TIP
Oonu is the default name for your AI assistant. Your admin can rename it to anything that fits your team — the functionality stays the same.
What Oonu knows
Oonu is built on top of Akoonu’s AI foundations across the entire RevWorks platform. It has access to:
- Your identity and role — Oonu knows who you are and your position in the team hierarchy
- Pipeline and forecasts — All open opportunities, forecast categories, and pipeline data
- Deals and accounts — Detailed opportunity and account information across your org
- Sales methodology — Your configured methodology fields (MEDDPICC, SPICED, BANT, or custom)
- Team structure — Reporting relationships, fiscal periods, and org hierarchy
With this context, Oonu can answer questions about deal risk, forecast health, pipeline coverage, team performance, and more — without you needing to specify where to look.
LLM connectivity
Oonu supports multiple LLM connection options, configured by your admin in Setup:
- Agentforce — Stays native in the Salesforce platform, using Claude or OpenAI through Salesforce’s AI infrastructure
- Direct connection — Connects directly to Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI for teams that prefer managing their own LLM access
The functionality is the same regardless of which connection method you use. It’s a preference for how your organization manages LLM connectivity.
Getting started
Type any question into the chat input to begin a conversation. You can start with something simple — like asking Oonu what it can do — or use one of the prebuilt skills below the chat input for common tasks like reviewing deals closing soon, checking pipeline coverage, or analyzing forecast changes.
See the other articles in this section for details on prebuilt skills, working with responses, chat controls, managing conversations, and the Gallery.
