Quota Performance Tracking
Last updated April 15, 2026
Managing quotas is only half the story. The real value is in how those quotas get used — to track attainment, calculate gaps, measure coverage ratios, and put the forecast in context. Once quotas are in Salesforce, Akoonu automatically surfaces them across every view where they matter.
Quotas in Workbench views
In Workbench, you can build custom forecast views that include quota data alongside your pipeline and forecast numbers. A typical view might show for each month and quarter:
- Quota — the target
- Closed — what’s been won
- Gap — the difference, calculated automatically
- Attainment % — how far along you are
- Progress bars — a visual indicator of attainment
Enable coverage ratio indicators to see how much pipeline covers the remaining gap. For example, if your gap is $2.4M and your commit forecast is $9.9M, you have 4.1x commit coverage — visible right in the view without building a separate report.
Quotas in forecast insights
The AI-powered forecast insights reference quota data automatically. Insights can comment on current attainment, flag when a team is falling behind pace, and contextualize the forecast relative to the target.
Quotas in summary charts
Summary charts throughout Akoonu can include quota as a reference line, so you see how the forecast tracks against the target over time. This works across views broken down by:
- Category — see quota vs. commit vs. best case vs. pipeline
- Sales stage — understand how stage-level pipeline maps to the quota
- Trend — watch the forecast evolve over weeks relative to the quota line
Quotas in drill-downs
As you drill down through the hierarchy — from org to region to team to rep — the quota context follows. Every level shows its own quota, attainment, and gap. You never lose sight of where things stand relative to the target.
