Adding the Quota Widget
Last updated April 15, 2026
This guide walks through adding the Akoonu Quota Manager widget to a user’s Lightning profile page so that sales admins can view and edit quotas directly from any user’s profile.
Add the widget to the page
- Navigate to any user’s profile page in Salesforce.
- Open the Lightning App Builder (click the gear icon → Edit Page).
- Add a Tab Set component to the page — this gives the widget a clean container that matches the rest of the profile layout.
- Remove any extra tabs you don’t need and rename the remaining one to Quotas.
- From the component panel, drag the Akoonu Quota Manager Widget into the tab.
Set visibility permissions
You’ll want to restrict the widget so only users with quota management permissions can see it:
- With the widget selected, click Set Component Visibility → Add Filter.
- Switch to the Advanced tab.
- Set Field to Permissions → Custom Permission.
- Select Akoonu Sales Admin User from the list.
- Click Done.
Users without the Akoonu Sales Admin permission set will not see the Quotas tab on the profile page.
Save and activate
- Click Save in the top-right corner of the App Builder.
- If prompted, click Activate and assign as the org default for the appropriate form factors.
Return to the user’s profile page — the Quota Manager widget is now live.
