Using the Quota Widget
Last updated April 15, 2026
The full Quota Manager app is the right tool when you’re working across the whole team — importing, bulk editing, or reviewing the hierarchy. But when you just need to make a quick update to a single rep’s quota, the Quota Manager widget is faster.
The widget embeds directly on a user’s Salesforce profile page. It’s a mini version of the Quota Manager, scoped to that one user.
What you can do
Navigate to any user’s profile page in Salesforce, and the Quota Manager widget shows their quota data for the current fiscal year. From here you can:
- Switch fiscal years — view past or future years
- See all forecasting types the rep is assigned to
- Toggle display options — show quarters, years, short numbers, full numbers (same controls as the full app)
- Edit inline — click any cell, update the value, save
For example, if a rep’s April quota needs to go down and May needs to go up to accommodate a deal timing change, you can make both edits and save — all from their profile page without opening the full Quota Manager app.
Who sees the widget
The widget is only visible to users with the Akoonu Sales Admin permission set. Reps and managers without that permission won’t see the Quotas tab on profile pages. This keeps quota editing in the hands of the people who should be managing it.
When to use it
The widget is ideal for:
- Quick individual adjustments — a ramp change, a territory shift, a mid-quarter correction
- Reviewing a rep’s quotas during a 1:1 — pull up their profile, check the numbers
- Spot-checking — verify a specific rep’s quota without opening the full app
For bulk changes across multiple reps, use the full Quota Manager app instead.
